Mental Health is often neglected and misunderstood. Most people don’t realize that mental wellness allows us to engage in activities without problems, perform tasks well, and enjoy life. It is a vital part of our overall health. Being able to think clearly, remain focused, interact appropriately with others, and feel good about self are components of good mental health.
Becoming stressed, irritable, or forgetful are common signs that you might not be taking care of your mental health. Failure to do so can also lead to depression, anxiety, and other issues. Make an effort to improve or maintain your mental health by doing things to relax your mind and relieve stress. There are numerous activities or things that you can do. I have listed a few which been helpful to me and others. 1. Pray 2. Walk 3. Meditate 4. Sing 5. Dance 6. Cook your favorite meal 7. Spend time with positive people 8. Journal (write what you think & feel) 9. Watch a movie/Go to the movies 10. Play a game Most of all take care of your mental health by being kind to yourself.
